The memory walk of 10 kilometres was undertaken by these fit members of the College Fields team. By completing the walk they raised money to support the research into Alzheimers. A few blisters were grown to prove it was not done without personal pain! Hopefully there will be gain as well as pain. Well done everyone of you!
The day was blessed with glorious sunshine and the route around Cardiff Bay a delight. The team were not lonely as there were another 2000 walkers.
Sian’s walk or water
A clash of event meant that not all who wanted to fund raise for charity could do so together. Most went on the Alzheimer's walk, see elsewhere, while Stephanie and Karen took part in ‘Sian’s walk or water’. Sian is a young lady who has gone through breast cancer and is so grateful to Velindre Cancer centre that she fund raises for them. This walk was for two of their current appeals and the staff walked 10km
