Benjy returned home after appeal in Barry and District News
There was lots of distressed people at the home when on Saturday morning it was found that the rabbits’ cage had been broken into and one of the lop eared rabbits was missing. Benjy had become a favourite with residents in the few weeks he had been with us as he was very cuddly and gave enormous pleasure to residents.
Fortunately, when the local paper, the Barry and District News were told they ran an article straight away. Within two days of the paper hitting the streets a couple called and explained they had found a black bin bag in communal bins and the bag moved. So they looked inside and found a very distressed Benjy. Benjy is now recovering and we hope he will be back being cuddled by residents very soon.
