This visit to Dyffryn Gardens was special for both residents, Beryl and John who went in June but of particular significance for John West as he was born there, in the gatehouse and spent the first five years of his life there. The visit brought back some lovely memories for him which he shared with the four of them who went.
The gardens are delightful and hopefully we can go again soon and see the changing flora and fauna.
These visits are possible due to the funds raised by the events such as fairs that pay for the entrance fees. They would not be possible were it not for our own minibuses that enable us to make the best use of the fine weather,
