The Six Bells in Penmark hosted the lunch and made everyone feel welcome and at home.
Some residents found that the journey and change of surroundings gave them an appetite. It was so nice just to be able to sit down with as many friends who wished and were fit enough to go.
Both the homes minibuses were needed to transport everyone there and back.
Once there the opportunity to do things that haven’t been done for some time, quite normal things for most of us, were a welcome change. The relaxed atmosphere, good service and good food and drink were all that was needed to make the day so enjoyable.
